October Art Journaling Challenge #4 - Change of Seasons: Abundance

pachimac

I solemnly swear I am up to no good!
CHEERY O
It's amazing to me how fast time is going. This is the last week in October already!!!! We've been exploring themes of autumn and the feelings it brings up in us the past few weeks. This week we want you to focus on these three words;

Abundance. Gratitude. Prosperity.

Here are some quotes to get you thinking:

“When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.”

“Living in a state of gratitude is the gateway to grace.”

“The real gift of gratitude is that the more grateful you are, the more present you become.”

“When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed.”

The key to abundance is meeting limited circumstances with unlimited thoughts.

What is called genius is the abundance of life and health.

Abundance is a process of letting go; that which is empty can receive.

To rejoice in the prosperity of another is to partake in it

If you are more visual like I am, here's a mood board, color palette, and some images to get your mind going !

Remember, for the art journaling challenges you can create any style of page. You get to decide what art journaling means to you. It can be a traditionally artsy page, clean and simple, pocket style, junk journal or something else. That is up to you. This would be a great challenge for including a photo of yourself on the page.

Also, another great way to get your feet wet is to do an ATC Card or Tag!

Everyone who participates in any of this month's challenges will be entered into a drawing for a $5 gift certificate to Oscraps. You can receive up to four entries into this month's drawing. Remember, you have all month to complete any or all of this month's challenges.

Challenge Rules:
  1. You have until 11:59 p.m. ET on October 31, 2023 to complete your pages for this challenge.
  2. To qualify for the drawing, you need to use 80% Oscraps products that are currently in the store (non-Oscraps products or retired O designer products can be used whether the designer is selling elsewhere or not).
  3. You need to credit all the products used on your page.
  4. You cannot use a page you create for this challenge for another Oscraps challenge.
  5. Upload your page to the Art Journal Gallery and then add your layout to the challenge thread. (Below you will find instructions on adding your page to this thread.)

Adding a linked layout from the Gallery to a thread:
  1. Upload your layout to the gallery first. In your forum post click the Gallery Embed icon (little camera).
  2. This will open your gallery, simply click on the layout you require, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Continue button.
  3. Your linked layout is now in your post, the image will appear once you have clicked the Post Reply button.

You doing this series is making me want to TRY to scrap again...I usually would focus my energy on designig or the newsletter. I really want to try doing something with Rachel's amazing goodness :beatingheart:

Start slow - start small! How about doing ATC cards? You have the knack - heck, nearly all your papers lately have been art journal masterpieces in themselves! I just fell in love with your Papillon 3 set!!

love your pages Ona

me too, I've put all my pages challenges (I redo the first challenge to have a tag format)
Those tags looks awesome Gaelle, you could print them out and put them on a round ring so you could turn them over whenever you wanted....... they would look lovely hanging up so people could see them. :)

What a wonderful challenge, Susie. You've really capped off the month brilliantly. First of all, I want you to know that this challenge made me dig deep. My page may not reflect it, but I have thought long and hard about this particular challenge and this page has been very evolutionary. In the end, I couldn't help but count our blessings after going through a couple of very difficult weeks and having the support and love of all of our family and friends, (including my online family) and I'm SO grateful for the abundance.

Great challenge. Thanks for hosting, Susie. For me abundance is having fresh flowers in the house. So this summer I was a very happy girl. Use an Anna Aspnes watercolor template.
