Hey,

Claire hosting the January 2024 Recipe challenge. Can you believe it's 2024 already?!

I love working with recipes, I find it so fun shopping my stash or a particular kit.

My recipe for you -
x1 template, x1 photo, x1 wordart, x3-5 foliage, x5 papers, x3-5 ellies, x1 confetti. Please use only the recipe and no more items. Elements within the template will count towards your items.

Here is my take -

Oscraps_Jan24_Chall4_Recipe_ClaireG.jpg
I used the recipe like this -
x1 template, x1 photo, x1 wordart (I cut mine in two, so it would stack), x4 foliage, x5 papers (x4 in the squares, x1 background paper), x4 ellies (paint, x2 flowers, x1 button), x1 confetti.

I used -
et Designs - Dream Big Collection

Jimbo Jambo Designs - Parade templates

Can't wait to see how you use the recipe.

Claire x

Adding a linked layout from the Gallery to a thread:
1. Upload your layout to the gallery first. In your forum post click the Gallery Embed icon (little camera).
2. This will open your gallery, simply click on the layout you require, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Continue button.
3. Your linked layout is now in your post, the image will appear once you have clicked the Post Reply button.

Thanks for the challenge. I enjoyed having a clear idea of what I wanted the page to be about that was not negotiable and no clue what ingredients I'd use. I grabbed the first template the search engine found in my folders and started deleting stuff. :D
Papers white base page, paper for color & texture on left, paper for book overlay, paper for frame color & texture, paper inside frame

Great challenge, Claire!
I used 3 foliage for the top cluster and duplicated 2 of them for the bottom cluster.
I used 3 flower elements for the top cluster and duplicated 2 of them for the bottom cluster.
The other 2 elements are the dots in the corners and the paper strips (dots and strips are from the template) behind the photo.
The confetti is obvious.
The 5 papers are: 1 - the BG, 2 - clipped to the corner dots, 3,4,and 5 - clipped to the paper strips behind the photo.
