Welcome to Day 7 of our Christmas Event:

This is Amy (mimes1) and I'm excited to be participating in my first 12 Days Of December Event with Oscraps!
I'm happy to be hosting this fun and easy challenge for you!

Your assignment for the Day 7 Challenge is to find a layout of your own that you want to re-do, and redo it! It's that simple!
  • Maybe your skills have developed or your style has changed and you want your old layout to reflect your new skills or style?
  • Maybe you love a template and want to change it out with new pictures or theme?
  • Maybe you want to change nothing but use a different collection?
  • Maybe you want to change everything!
  • Maybe you have a theme but want to change your pictures?
  • Maybe you love your pictures but you want to change the theme?
Whatever the reason, pick a layout of your own that you would like to redo, and have fun doing it!

Here is the layout I'm redoing. It was intended to be a monochromatic layout, but it feels washed out to me and not enough contrast anywhere! I'm going to fix that.

Here is my new layout. It uses most of the same products, but I brightened it up, added color, and did some rearranging.

Now it's your turn! I Hope you have fun playing with a layout you want to redo! Please let me know if I can answer any questions.

CHALLENGE PRIZES & RULES

PRIZES:

All prize coupons will be distributed during the week after the challenges are closed at the end of the month.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RULES FOR THIS CHALLENGE:

- Re-do an old layout.
Please show us your old layout in this thread or link to it.
- You may use any theme you like.
- Templates are allowed.

- Please include the words DAY 7 in your title when uploading to the gallery.
- Please use 100% Oscraps products. (Please note this is different from our regular monthly challenges).
- You need to credit all the products used on your layout.

- Note to new Oscraps members: If you are new to the site and do not have a lot of older layouts in your gallery, you may upload an older layout with non-Oscraps products using the Attach Files function (guide is HERE), but of course your new layout needs to be created with Oscraps products and uploaded to the gallery and linked back to this thread.

Create a post in the 12 DAYS TRACKING THREAD 2024 to keep track of your completed layouts games participation.
(We will select our Grand Prize winners from this thread, so create a post now and remember to keep updating it throughout the month!)

- Your page must be posted in the 12 Days December 2024 Gallery by PST 11.59 pm 31 December 2024, and linked back to this thread (see below).

Adding a linked layout from the Gallery to a thread:
  1. Upload your layout to the gallery first. In your forum post click the Gallery Embed icon (little camera).
  2. This will open your gallery, simply click on the layout you require, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Continue button.
  3. Your linked layout is now in your post, the image will appear once you have clicked the Post Reply button.

And my "redo":

I kept the ATC format but changed the BG paper, edited the photo slightly, and increased the size, color, and placement of the title.

thank you for prompting me to do one of the pages on my redo list. When I first started digi scrapping my supplies were very limited and many of the pages are the same except for the photos and titles. I've chosen to redo this one

Thank you for this fun challenge. I felt my frog photo needed to be larger. I have used all different products than the original layout.

now my redo

I chose to re-do this LO

full

I Love the photo of the girl and her teddy bear

I think the hardest part for me was what to re-do. I dont re-do things :giggle4: And most things I post here are challenge LO and do you re-do a challenge? Yep cause I never liked how it turned out. One of my very first challenge attempts and it was "artistic" which you can see didn't go well :giggle4: Later tonight I will fix it. My first ever re-do.

I loved this collection and my picture, but I thought my layered photo was a bit too far from the rest of the elements.

Thanks for the challenge. I picked a page from ten years ago, and tried to choose photos for a similar theme of documenting a trip with the same type of things I've always loved and things that haven't changed.

I don't worry about the page gutter like I did back then. It still matters but I just don't care. The only photo of the Jeep in December happens to show the oxygen machine, and that's a symbol of one of the major changes from ten years ago. It changes where we go and a lot more. :p

This page is the first one I've posted in the Oscrap gallery. It was made in 2010 and it is my gift to little boy Arseny.

This is again my gift to Arseny, who is now 20 years old. These 14 years have flown by so fast!

thank you, LOVE this Challenge♥

Both your layouts look super nice! Your subtle changes create a very impactful layout! The layered photos look great! Thank you for joining in on our challenge today!

I actually made this redo several months ago (Sept 2024) and I have been anxiously waiting for a REDO challenge for several months now. Finally Happens!! :D

Beautifully done! The added bright colors really draw me. Thank you for participating in the Redo Challenge today!

What a sweet pup!! I love the font color matching your sweet girls sweater. The texture in the background is a nice add too. Nicely done! Thank you for participating in today's challenge!

It's fun to look back and see how our skills have grown, isn't it? Your redo looks great! I like how you were able to keep all your photos and even add more, and your layout is clean and neat. Love all the stitching and the different sized photos woven together so expertly. Thank you for participating in today's challenge!

Look's fantastic Anne-Maria! You did a great job maintaining the same feel of the original, yet enlarging your photo adds so much more depth. Wonderfully done. Thank you for participating in the Redo Challenge!

LOVE! Sleeping puppy layouts are the BEST! I love both! The positioning of puppy's nose to the center of the new one gives a great focal point. Wonderful work! Thank you for participating in today's challenge!
