That's the more or less bad news. However, the cardiologist said the one blocked artery is not terribly urgent but he advises not going. He will schedule Dick for surgery probably next week. The one interesting part is that the cardiologist is having thoughts about his doing the operation. He says since we are almost like family, he thinks he would prefer to have one of his partners do it. I get that but still it was a little twist.
Dick is fine with it all as am I, and I joked to him that he always has surgeries before I do e.g. cataracts, so if my time comes, I'll be familiar with the whole deal. That's some of what marriage late in life can be about!
