Welcome to Day 6 of our Christmas Event.

Chain Scraplift Challenge

My name is Susie and I'm your host for this challenge.

This challenge is one of my favorites - and it's really easy to do.
Scraplifting is something that I have done for years, and it has really honed my scrapping flexibility.
I like to pick a page that has some kind of skill that I'm not really strong in, but other times I will just pick something that just wows me. It's up to you what page you choose.

Just a Note: To keep the thread pure and easy to find who you are supposed to scraplift, please don't comment on the layouts here or have chit chat in the thread.

With scraplifts - there are a few ways to do them:

1. You try to replicate the page with your photos/elements.
2. You use the same kit and pick an aspect of the page and lift that.
3. You choose the color scheme.
4. You scrap what feeling you had and inspiration from looking at that page. These types of lifts might need a little explanation in the description box to say what inspired you.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CHALLENGE:

NOTE: If you are the first person in the thread, you will be scrap-lifting me. Just click on my name to the left and go to my gallery and pick one out.
  • Post in this thread "I'M NEXT", then click on "Post Reply" to secure your spot in the scraplift chain.
  • Look to see who posted just above your response. This is the member you will be scraplifting.
  • Edit your post to enter the member's name that you will scraplift. You will come back later to edit your post and add the gallery image of your layout and the one you scraplifted.
  • If you hover your cursor over the member's name (in the left sidebar) the popup box will have a link to their gallery. Look through their gallery to find a layout you would like to scraplift.
  • Create a layout, upload into your gallery and post both your gallery image and the layout you scraplifted.
  • Link to the layout in the description box.
  • To reiterate, you will only have one post in this thread. You will edit it to have your finished layout and the layout you scraplifted.
SPECIAL INFO:
If you have questions, don't chitchat here, please send me a private message. Let's keep this thread only for the scraplift chain posts.

Looking forward to your pages - have fun!

I loved this page of Ursula's @nobles and I was thrilled for the opportunity to lift her page.

My page is a scraplift of nobles Heron page...

I was inspired by the photo of the Great Blue Heron, the textured background, the fun framing (+ Out of Bounds of the bird.. I did it's beak), the foliage and the pops of green.

Here is mine:

Thank you Susie, for the challenge and everyone for looking!

"I'M NEXT
I will be scraplifting Sylvia ♥︎
I chose to lift

It was difficult to choose a page from Sylvia's gallery, I love all her pages but her “federsee” page immediately inspired me both by the design and by the beautiful photo and Anna Aspnes products she used.

I've scraplifted this amazing page by Anne-Marie ( @A-M ). So many gorgeous pages in her gallery! I was inspired by the rotated paper, 3 butterflies and the cluster in the left bottom corner.

Here's my page:

i don't have many pages in my gallery i'm afraid so i added another few older pages tonight but i'm conscious of the 5 a day upload limit - hope that helps the next person (sorry!)

I'm back - i chose this double page to lift of isDK's

and flipped it and sort of made it a square, single page version keeping the bird theme
