We did a little birding yesterday afternoon and it was really nice. Then another phone chat with BIL mostly about what's happening or will happen in Texas. In a bit we're off to the senior center for the monthly genealogy group. That is always a good time.
Chris, wow, guess you really need to...
It would have been a wonderful week with spring fully here, but it was also very sad.

Beautiful day here as well. I'm enjoying looking out the window at the lush blossoms on the crabapple tree. Not much scheduled here today so maybe we can get out. It's election day but we voted by mail, so just have to wonder as to the results. Maybe all the election phone calls will end (we...
It was a nice early spring week, but still pretty late.

The fog is lifting a bit. Last night I had to really stop and think to remember what I'd been working on before we found out. I've taken advantage of the sales here, so that will help get me scrapping, I hope.
Rae, when I just saw Relax as the 52 Inspirations challenge, I thought it was just...
Things aren't that bad here, mostly going on as usual, but we're in a bit of a funk over a sad and unexpected death in the family, DH's cousin in Texas. It's all a bit draining, so sorry, I'm not the best company just now either. :behindsofa:
Wishing better days to all of you.
Sunny and almost warm today so it looks wonderful. Tomorrow will be warmer but I have a meeting in the afternoon then dentist Wed. followed by bird club in the evening, so not lots of time to get out and bird.
Felis, I too hope May will be better for you with allergies going away.
Chris...
DH did his bird survey this morning and is napping now. It was nice but still not some of the birds normally here by now. I have that Anna video ready to play, so hope it will inspire all of us. I'm always a little wary of the videos and such as they're all for PS or PSE neither of which I have...
I guess philosophy is where you see it. April 10th Sheryl and I each had tea at lunch but when the used tea bags sat together they looked so very different.

Yesterday was gray and chilly and our main accomplishment was finishing reading up for and filling in our mail-in ballots for the May primary. Today is sunny and a little warmer, really nice! I have a meeting in the evening for which I'm ready. After we'll probably eat at a steakhouse not far...
There was such a beautiful array of crocus in this tree lawn on the 12th.

While we keep waiting for spring, it is clearly not still winter either.

I had to laugh at the idea of Chris and Cait coming to "rescue" Quilliam - only it was a different library! It is nice and in the 60s today so soon we plan to do some birding as DH is now home from Hum & Strum. Last night we finished one of my new jigsaw puzzles of an incredible and funny group...
Yesterday was something different. It was the day the computer genealogy group meets at a library. It opens at 9:00 and we set up until starting the meeting at 9:30. We have activities until 2:00. But yesterday I arrived at 9:01 getting one of a dwindling number of parking spaces as people park...
