yay for Spring!!! :humble: It is finally here!!! We are going to get to 65* today!!!!
My "big" plan for today is to take down the Christmas lights. I was going to ask Scott to do it for me but he is getting ready for finals and research project due dates are coming up fast and is time-crunched. Cait is in the same boat and both of them are in crummy moods. In fact, all 4 of were yesterday and got cranky with each other. Cait and I even got into a small fight, but we are all good today.
I spent a bunch of time uncovering plants yesterday from layers of leaves. Unfortunately, it wasn't as relaxing as I would like since my anxiety over ticks seems to be getting worse. I think that I told you that my LLMD suspects that I was reinfected last spring which is why I was so darn sick last summer. For some reason, pheromones maybe, ticks are attracted to certain people more than others and lucky me, I am one of them.
I cover myself with DEET, wear long pants, shower right after I am outside but it doesn't always seem to make a difference. Gary showed me an article that there is a new species of tick in NJ that somehow got here from East Asia. This should be a flag to the CDC when they say that Lyme Disease isn't found in State XYZ. Like ticks understand borders. SMH.
Not much else going on here.
Hope that you all have a happy and sunshine-y day!
