Out on the point I stood where I felt safe even knowing my tendency to suddenly feel dizzy. Ha. I wondered if you'd get this close to the edge and get this same view. Little did I suspect my ordeal would come hiking the last few car lengths uphill, my lower back screaming at me all the way.
I was hiking in a hurry out to the point, but stopped because the sun was so beautiful on the grasses. I didn't study the mountains in the distance, but took a quick photo to remember those weeds in their best light. What a surprise later to see the rare aqua of the LaSal mountains, and a yellow...
We were out early and came back without meeting anyone except some servers at the diner, and I liked this guy's hat. But mostly we didn't have much contact with people. We even decided we could skip the bother of going out for lunch by having our meal as soon as we got back to town.
Love your story. Good for you! I quit cutting my hair, and I quit wearing makeup because it would get on the mask. Haven't noticed a down side to wearing my real hair color yet and don't think you will either.
