So much we don't understand about it and it's hard on everybody. I hope you're getting the support you need and are prepared in case all your effort yields just one more blank stare. My mom didn't have dementia but she would shake her head and just not register anything that involved emotions...
LOL. I don't overthink it, that's for sure. But now that you mention it, it's kind of good with the burgers fries and t-shirts signs above the booths, too. :p
Thank you so much Linda! I've been making books since 1972 and printing with Blurb since 2007. I only recently started posting a few 12x12s that won't get printed, but almost all go in my annual 440-page book, and I mention pages that don't get printed in my comments.
So warm and inviting. This brought back old times for me, when I lived in the city and would visit the Scandinavian gift shop much too often, and always put those candles and flowers on my table. ;)
Your story brings me tears. I never had a sister, and can only imagine your feelings of loss. I can only send you hugs and totally remember those long wool coats with a sigh.
No, my real-life brother in NJ. Hadn't heard from him in two years since the last time he needed computer help. He was blaming Microsoft because he couldn't remember his passwords, and yelling. I always let my stress build (too much), give him three warnings, and then hang up. :p
Well, a confession, then. These are both me, and he's my imaginary twin brother. I used the Android FaceApp's Artificial Intelligence to make me a guy. The free app is a ton of fun and for December my avatar was a younger (imagined) version of myself.
I had to hang up on Bro Bill. He went on yet another of his endless out of control rants. But I'd still have my favorite bro and I was fascinated by him. He looked a lot like how I remembered my dad. He seemed nice, and I was so glad you enjoyed him too when he showed up. #FaceApp
