What a lovely page and great story to go with it!

Love what's been done so far for this one! I've gone with the bright colors, texture, sparkle and definitely butterflies.

Frustrating when you know you can but just seem to get in your own way. This could be encouragement! The gesso has an inner bevel effect and luminance blend mode.

How beautiful. I want to wake up to this. Especially like how the bird is incorporated.

This is the Valentine I made for my DH. It's more of my mixed media collage.

Almost never for me unless it's for a challenge. Still, I usually like them when I use them.

This is a photo I only got fairly recently, so great to scrap a new one.

I've gone with a parallelogram perhaps inspired by this month's template challenge.

The Garfield looks so much nicer than its former blackened state. This was a beautiful day in late January.

Tracks in the snow always fascinate me and this set was a fun grouping. This was inspired by parts of a mood board, Nos. 2 (bands and lines), 4 (blocks), 9 (seed heads), 11 (diagonals in neutral colors), 12 (white shapes and dots)

I just had to use this quote though it may not be a perfect fit for my page.

This piece, Flight 146, was in a group exhibit back in 2014. More recently we hung it in the house, but I didn't like where it was. Now it sits near me waiting for wall space and being on my mind.

Oh, I love the gray background with the bird photo emerging from it. Lovely colors!

Along the lake recently we saw quite a few Great Black-backed Gulls including this one at a marina where my DH got its photo.
