The coral honeysuckle is a favorite of ours. It grows well, attracts hummingbirds, looks lovely, and doesn't go all over the place. It is showing signs of what's soon to come and I love the fancy shapes it's taking.

I'm another not fond of mornings. I've written something that might be a poem if very free form.

This could be my morning poem - if you allow for very free form poems. It is certainly what I prefer doing!

What a cutie! The techniques have really come through to accent its fur and create wonderful textures around it.

Never think to do borders without the challenge, but it is always fun to try.

I use PaintShopPro, so filters a little different: chrome instead of cutout (soft light), halftone (burn), posterize (screen).

March 22 was spring but gray and chilly at the beaver marsh but blackbirds and grackles filled the air with sounds of spring. I was happy to get this photo of a Red-winged Blackbird on an usual perch.
