Followed the random word challenge giving odd word groups but an interesting process for sure. Really remarkable!

I just had to play with some bright red! Mostly worked with the colors, shapes and lines in the macaw photo but had to add the butterfly and just the general exciting look. Hope this works as AJ.

Attempting Art Journaling with inspiration from photos of a macaw and a butterfly and others of a mood board. Exciting but very different colors for me. I used the photo masks as elements, recolored and one with a burn blend mode.

These are so not my scrapping colors, but I'm sitting here in a bright red turtleneck and think this will be exciting to try.

I can't help much either because about the only celebration we have is that I create a card for my DH. :heartpumpred:

In lightly falling snow I looked for feeder birds at the nature center but instead found this Cooper's Hawk just waiting and listening.

DH and I so far so good, not even a cold. And sure hope it stays that way!

What a lovely palette! (But when I went to post mine, I saw that many of us found the same perfect background paper to use.)

This mixed media collage (or mental landscape) didn't even get a name, but I hope I'll like it better in this version.

Snow is pretty for scrapping, but it gets old fast!

Early January was mostly just gray and damp but then the snow started. Plants, indoors and out, have been keeping it nicer even so.

I'm loving these! What about the washing machine one? None of us likes doing that, but we used it often.

It was fun making the torn edge, but mine came out a bit fuzzy. The deer make tracks in the snow by our house, but it was nice seeing them in the park.

I've been watching this thread hoping to learn what the heck you mean by pocket scrapbooking. I still don't understand exactly. Here's a page I did in November. Would it be pocket scrapbooking? I've weekly pages for several different years and always designed each one to be unique so probably...

What a lovely, evocative page. Love the snowman drawing blended in with lacy snowflakes too.

Me too with the WOW. Don't think I have anything new to add, but I really do like this.
