I started in 2004, not online or with work by designers, but with a book based on PaintShop Pro (which I used then and still now). It had instructions on creating layout design and lots of examples and ideas. Looking back at those, I see how much I learned from it. Didn't go online until 2006...

Nov. 10 was a fabulous day - amazing for November. I decided we got a mental health day from how we spent it. Had to do a page in tribute.

I did this one for the Nov. Heritage challenge. It includes my sister, mother and me, but most important, my mother's iris garden.

Hard to think of the garden way back then that thrived until they sold the house in 1974.

We had DSL and even upgraded wasn't very good with a lot of Zoom sessions. We finally upgraded to fiber optic and no longer had unstable Zoom and I couldn't believe how quickly kits downloaded -- seconds instead of minutes. Ours is also above ground but we've had no problems so far.
