I think the columbine seed pods forming might even be better looking than the flowers. A really lovely little garden for our art class when we can meet outside.
Your wonderful page really inspired me. My brother was a young Marine in the Korean War and because of your page I searched on his company and found a book about that company at the time he was in. Azure butterflies always come around our silky dogwood but were a little different in timing this year. Loved that this one was special on the 4th of July.
July might be the perfect time to think about winter when it's hot and winter far away. I went with a snowy photo in the neighborhood blended with a great background.
Iris Scott's The Ion the Stitch and the Window inspired me to use this photo of my sister's yard with tree shadows in the snow. I used two papers, taking away part of one. The photo is on top with a burn blend mode. A duplicate of the photo is on top of that with an enamel effect and an overlay...

The one thing that helps me the most is taking photos. It doesn't matter of what, anything can turn into something to scrap. AJ is the other road I can take with no photos.
