Great Blue Herons look stately stalking the marsh, or awkward taking flight but always good to see. Even when many are present they may be off alone. I like this picture I got last month.
DH was so happy to get this great photo of a Brown Thrasher. We spent a little time birding three days in the last week of September when many fall migrants could be seen.
We've seen a number of both thrushes the last two days and it was so nice of DH to take this great photo of one. It's been a nice window into this fall's migration.
I think the pleasure of cooking shows is not liking to cook, but liking to eat. :giggle4: I don't normally watch any but do sometimes see one when we eat out (no sound) when one TV screen is on cooking instead of sports.
I'm amazed at how much this old typewriter weighs! It sure was my friend for a long time so someday I may get it spruced up and type something. But probably not.
Moonshadows birding at night in Belize with a nearly full moon. Amazing. Many other wonderful night views where the sky is naturally dark. (This has no connection to the Cat Stevens song.)
