Hello my friends!! I hope that you are having a good day and scrapping some wonderful memories. I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce you to the art journaling challenges that we host over at oScraps! Cheryl, Sonja, Cindy, Chris, and I work hard to find good topics to jog your memory and get you thinking about what you want to scrap about. We have a word of the month, and each of us does a week with a specific focus that we personally choose. You can follow our prompt, or just scrap whatever the word of the month brings up inside of you.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank Cindy (scribler) for all her hard work on the Art Journaling Challenges. She has decided to move on and do different things. We will miss her insights and challenges and we wish her well. Chris (faerywings) will be joining us in her place in March and we can’t wait to see what she brings to the table. I know it will be fantastic!

Cheryl has described her week as this:

“Welcome to Week 3 of the February Art Journaling Challenge. The theme for this month is Discover and how you interpret that word is entirely up to you.

Personally, I’ve been “discovering” how to navigate the waters of being a widow now instead of a wife of 44 years. I have to tell you it’s been more difficult than I could ever have imagined. I decided to take this opportunity and use our word  discover to delve deep into my raw feelings.
