The month of Thanks

Yes, thank you, ViVre, what an amazing thing to do for Ang! God Bless you!

today i'm thankful for people like ViVre. the Random Act of Kindness she did for Ang, even though they've never met, is just an amazing and gracious thing. ViVre went to find Ang's dad's gravesite in France, where he died in WWII when Ang and her twin were just babies. ViVre took photos for Ang of the site. such thoughtfulness is just beyond description. amazing.

Oh ViVre, that is a wonderful and kind thing you did.

Today i am thankful for a "normal" day. It has been a long time since I had one of those. (It is only 6 am, so I might be regretting these words at some point, but heck, a girl can hope for the best, right??)

Today I'm especially grateful for a husband who makes me my pot of tea, no matter how early he has to be up. Every morning it's sitting there under the teacosy warm as toast...er tea.

ViVre is super special!

Today I am thankful for science. I saw today that it was Marie Curie's birthday and thanks to her, Roentgen and Thomas Edison (among others) who learned about and then often died from radiation poisoning we now know how to use radiation in a much safer way within the medical field. To take x-rays, CT Scans, Nuclear Medicine studies and radiation therapy. Even though I've been in the field for nearly 6 years the physics of it all still amazes me.

Today I am thankful for my sister! She's coming here after work today, so I can go grocery shopping with her. You might wonder what's to be grateful about grocery shopping, but the fact that my sister is coming here, means I can go grocery shopping with her IN HER CAR - I won't have to carry the groceries home from the store.

Haven't posted here in few days but I have to say again how thankful I am for my DH. I couldn't begin to list all the ways he loves and supports me.

When I'm blue or feeling a bit off, he's there with big bear hugs, telling me how much I'm loved and how needed I am - at least to him :)

i haven't been in here in a while too... but today I am thinkful that I worked a half day-- better than no day, right?

I am also thankful for my BFF who is Scott's godmother and that she is taking a good role in his life. He needs that and it makes me happy that 2 of my fav. people are getting close.

I'm especially grateful to see that beautiful sun shining on the ocean. I never take that view for granted when I have it.

i'm thankful for the cheery o's! i can never say it enough, but you ladies are a tremendous blessing!!!!!!!

today i'm thankful for finding a restaurant where i can eat without having an allergy attack, or whatever it is that's going on between me and FOOD!! i'm more thankful for the good company of my good friend at lunch. i am so thankful to have friends who share DECADES of history with me.

Oh, I forgot about this thread :). Today, I am thankful that I have a nice warm house to weather this blowy, snowy weather in and I don't have to drive anywhere tomorrow!!

I am thankful for my children and that they are bright and have fabulously mature moments. It is the week of conferences and I am finding out wonderful things about my kids that fill me up with pride...and we've come across some situations that require conversations with the kids and they have grasped what we were trying to tell them and hopefully have learned a little.

Today I am thankful for on-line friends. It's such a blessing to have friends all over the world, who will listen when I whine, laugh at my jokes, and fill my days with joy!

Can I just say that I am thankful to all of the above? All of the things you are saying, I am smiling and nodding in agreement.

Today I am thankful for my family...far and near...aunts, uncles, the whole bit. We've got a lot of them and I love having a big family.
