I haven't even had a chance to read any of the articles, but the images on the news are horrifying and heartbreaking.

All of the best thoughts I have are with you.

And everyone on the entire west coast, be careful.

I'm thankful for the Daily Os to keep me abreast of the news! Hugs and prayers to the world during this tumultuous time!

Yes, I hope all of our friends in Japan are safe and well. After watching all those horrific videos of the tsunami last night, Hawaii was bracing for the worst. We were very lucky to have escaped with very minimal damage compared to Japan.

I just met a girl last night and we were talking about her sisters who were in Japan and Korea. She is in my small group at church so I have word out to the leaders to get ahold of her and I am praying for her. I am guessing they are military so possibly Navy. Ugh!! We have a Marine friend there so I am praying for him too. I need to send him a message on FB and hopefully we'll hear from him. So scary. Another friend of mine's husband is on vacation in Hawaii and she was freaking out. I can't even imagine going through that today. Just praying today.

I first saw this on the news this morning, but it really doesn't get any less scary the more times I see it! I hope everyone in areas affected by the earthquake and resulting tsunami are alright. Please check in when you can & let us know you're all safe and well.

Kym & Leiko are you guys OK in Hawaii? I heard on the news that 7ft high waves reached you guys ... are you & your families all OK?

It looks like she and her DH are ok.
She sms to a friend who put it on FB, where the owner of the shop she is in ( we are in) saw it
"nini and Yi are safe".
Hope it is true, but this is the best news I could have on this sa. morning

sending all Japonese strength and courage for the coming days/week month ...

Thankful they are safe- this puts my basement flooding in a whole new perspective- just watched some of the videos this morning- wow- prayers for their return to normalcy

my heart goes out to them all , how do you cope with something overwhelming like tat.

what amazes me is how calm the survivors stay , no panic, no tearing their hair out, no hysterics . they just get on with the job

and still the aftershocks have not stopped
