Hi everyone, Sylvia here welcoming you to the THROUGH THE LENS CHALLENGE this month.

:cheer:

This month is all about you and where you live. By “where you live” I mean your current place of residence [ city, village ].
So rummage through your smartphone, hard drive or camera, choose at least 3 photos of where you live and present them in your layout.

Important : No stock photos allowed !!!

Tell a story about where you live - what makes it special to you - and bring it to life for us.
I expect at least 3 meaningful sentences.

That's it. Pretty simple.

I had to scrap some photos I took of my garden areas over the past few days. It's time for bees and butterflies and I love it!
The view from your window looks so great - like a little paradise. The minimalist design here is just perfect and draws the eye straight to the floral splendor.
Thank you so much for playing along with me this month.

I'm in awe with your layout. Such a great documentation of your town and so beautifully showcased with your design. Just wonderful.
Thank you so much for playing along with me this month.
Thank you so much, Sylvia!

Thanks Sylvia, this is of photos taken from home in the more or less coastal region of Adelaide, South Australia
Just wonderful and what a great idea to show us photos from different times of the day. I love the minimalist design of your page with the tiny bouquet of flowers. Thank you so much for playing along with me this month.

I know this is pretty minimal as far as digiscrap materials, but I think I meet the 80% cutoff. 4 photo templates from Oscraps and 1 stamp from outside = 80% and 20%. I hope I'm doing that right.

Thanks, Sylvia, for this great challenge! I am so enjoying seeing everyone's home areas. Here's mine:

I have very great memories of Florida and would love to come back there again and again.
Your photos are so typical for there, but I miss the pelicans LOL. Your layout is just wonderful.
Thank you so much for playing along with me this month.

Here's a little history of my town.
I enjoyed reading your journaling that tells so much about your town. Your photos are great and I love the placement of the street lamp. Thank you so much for playing along with me this month.

Your layout is simply brilliant and there are no missing embellishments. Your photos and composition speak for themselves. Thank you so much for playing along with me this month.

I took pictures in my garden. While it looks like we have lakefront property behind us, it's runoff from the massive amounts of rain we've been getting. The pond slows the water down on the way to the river, otherwise it always flooded Main Street.
Journaling reads:
I live in a small town of 3,000 in SE Minnesota. I grew up in a similar size town in central Minnesota. We put the pond in about 15 years ago. It’s a lot of work, but brings me so much joy and serenity when it reaches this stage. I always tell people, it’s not a toy it’s an eco-system. We have fish & a variety of aquatic plants.
