I took pictures in my garden. While it looks like we have lakefront property behind us, it's runoff from the massive amounts of rain we've been getting. The pond slows the water down on the way to the river, otherwise it always flooded Main Street.
Journaling reads:
I live in a small town of 3,000 in SE Minnesota. I grew up in a similar size town in central Minnesota. We put the pond in about 15 years ago. It’s a lot of work, but brings me so much joy and serenity when it reaches this stage. I always tell people, it’s not a toy it’s an eco-system. We have fish & a variety of aquatic plants.
This is so beautifully composed with the large photo and the framed water lilies. Such a peaceful scene im your backyard. Thank you so much for playing along with me this month.

I enjoyed this challenge. Hopefully, that song won't get stuck in your head for too long lol!
I live in Western Canada, in the province of Alberta.
Oh, this is beautiful and so nicely scrapped. I love the clean design, your photo series and the black lines behind them as accents.
Thank you so much for playing along with me this month.

My first thought when I read this challenge was "I'll skip this one!". I'm so sick and tired of this place, I felt there was absolutely ZERO I like about my home town. Then we went on a road trip. And there - NATURE! I'm by no means a person who gets out in nature, hiking and stuff like that. But I love to live so close to nature. I could walk like 5 minutes from my home, and I'd find myself in forest like this. That's a blessing! These photos tough are taken like a 40 minutes drive from where we live.

I can really empathize with how it feels when you are fed up with the place. That's why we moved. The pictures of your surroundings are very beautiful and it's good that you can enjoy the nature there. Thank you so much for playing along with me this month.
