Okay, here's the deal:

Next week, on Thursday, August 5th I'm meeting Chris probably somewhere close to New Hope, PA. Depending on other circumstances, we may go on north to the New Jersey Botanical Gardens...we're gonna play it by ear!

Then on Friday, August 6th, NanaLinda and I (and probably our uncle and mr gorgeous and whoever wants to go along) are going to meet somewhere in the middle of VA...probably on a battle field! (as my mom would say, always homeschooling!!!)...that keeps the guys happy!! LOL!!

If you are anywhere near and want to meet up with us, PM me and I'll add you to my cell phone and give you a call when our plans are firm!!!

(The English sub-branch of Oscraps convened IRL about 6 weeks ago - we didn't stop yakking for about 3 hrs!)
 
It would be wonderful- but just too far with work on friday and my vaca beginning the next week- enjoy everyone!

Woo hoo. Where abouts are you going to be? And are you flying direct or via Heathrow? I'm about 12 hrs from Scotland, but only 12 miles from Heathrow.
 
Woo-hoo, come on over Sally ... my dad lives in Glasgow and DH's family live in Stranraer (on the west coast of Scotland)!!!

Believe it or not Vicki, but cameras were BANNED!!! ... both Selena (aka Bush Girl) and Lorraine (aka Neat Freak) are happy behind the lens but both are a bit camera shy .... unlike me!!!!!!

Tis true. Not a photo was taken. But lots of lunch was eaten and lots of talking took place and it only ended as I had to leave to pick up my kids from school. Oh, and Lorraine had to go back to work for the rest of the afternoon.


Sally, if you're not in Cat's part of the world - she's pretty far north - there's always Zoe & Ellen around and about up there.

Okay....I don't like it either...but there are some tihngs that we MUST be in the photo for....SELENA and LORRAINE!!! This was definately one of those occasions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. There should have been at least ONE picture of everyone. You could have held your beverages in front of your faces! :-)

hehehe - I wonder if Lorraine is reading this!

I do have to admit to having photos of me & Sue Cummings when we met up last August. I even scrapped one of them.
 
I remember this layout!! TOTALLY AWESOME!! Now if you had taken some photos when you met up with Lorraine and Sue, you would have two more to add to your credentials!! HEHE!!!
 
hahahaha!! too funny about the camera ban!!!! of ALL people to NOT take photos!!!! LOL!!! you girls are too funny!!! :)

and Sally, you could travel to England via Australia no problem!!!! Helen and I could meet you at the airport and rush up to you for autographs!!!! :biggrin:
