Effective 26 June 1958, six weeks after arriving in Alaska we were assigned to base housing. Our new home was Quarters 21-264A. The street address was 1264 Quince Street Apt. A. Mom and Dad did not take a picture of our quarters but being the military they all looked the same.

Operations Center The building is located in a remote part of the base north of the runways on Fairchild Ave. Today the building houses the 381st Intelligence Squadron.
Since these letters are going in a book. I wanted some way to connect each separate letter within the larger context. My thought was that I could visually link the pages of the letters if I kept the same basic page design for the entire letter.
