We hoped to find birds much closer to home. There wasn't much to go on, but I scanned the column for summer on the bird list and it looked very similar to the one for Bear River and six hours less interstate driving round trip. What was certain before we left, was that we were in for an adventure.
Wonderful photos and lift! What I love about this style is the amount of white space is so comfortable. Also, love the colored beads. Must lift you. ;)
Just watching the jelly feeder was a lesson in politics. the western tanager chased the house finch away for his turn, then the black-headed grosbeak hurried the Bullock's oriole off for his turn. The pine siskins squabbled too. There will always be bullies, but we need to save our democracy.
Love it! I agree everyone would appreciate Sedona more if they took the tours. We figured out where every pink tour went and one by one drove each one. It was a lot of fun but they don't have tours to some of the best places, so even better to BYOJ.
May was nicer than April because so many flowers were in bloom, and it got hot in the afternoons but the temperature was still comfortable. We'd need to bring shorts which we don't wear much. No wonder we had to make our reservations a year and a half in advance for the apartment we wanted.
