We waited 'til the very end of May to buy our canna lily and some salvia to go with it. Luckily there was still one forlorn red one in the store and you planted it. I learned about this fertilizer that would help us get lots of flowers which we wanted. We had amazing blooms in just two weeks!

After lunch we went back to Monte Vista NWR just to see how it would be different at midday. Not as many birds, but I took the little walk that went to a small pond overlook, and a sparrow sang just for me. I thought he liked my attention because when I looked to the side for only a second he flew.
