Yesterday was nuts but today hopefully I'll have fun. Already past my deadline to be off here as must leave soon. Taking a salad for potluck so at least I'll have appropriate food: red leaf lettuce with strawberries, pecans and blue cheese. I'm going to be bad though and have a piece of Ed's...
Thanks to Chris for the beautiful photo we're all scrapping!

More running around to do today then tomorrow is a genealogical committee meeting followed by our annual pot luck. So, not a lot of time. Afraid I'm going to skip personals again today. :-(
Just a quick wave Hi! Gotta run to do a little shopping then go to the senior center where my class isn't still on, but we're showing up anyway. Try to get back later.
:sorry:
This is what we do on Christmas eve.

Today was nothing special and now snow to speak of. The Chinese restaurant yesterday was nice and it's always a great group. Had leftovers for lunch today. We got the cutest little mice for the evil cat. They contain catnip which she doesn't care about but they are so sweet. Her favorite toys...
My all time favorite Christmas music is the 1960 Kingston Trio album, Last Month of the Year. The White Snows of Winter is one of the songs and I think it is lovely. I've included the title and last of the lyrics. You can hear it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOHY0GEhUu0

Have to get ready to go, annual Dec. board mtg & lunch at Chinese restaurant of computer genealogy group. Looking forward to it. Then DH & I will visit pet store to find a gift for the evil cat of BiL. We have dusting of white on rooftops, but so far that's all.
Chris, glad Cait is feeling...
This tiny tree was a birthday gift to DH's aunt whose birthday was Dec. 18. We have it now and sometimes use it as our Christmas tree.

We've even had a little sunshine today and maybe not as cold, so that is nice. It will be a normal football Sunday following happily on the win by Ohio State yesterday. Meanwhile I'm working on genealogy things, some for Christmastime.
Felis, love the avatar and how accurate it is! Looking...
Yesterday was just normal here and today would be more of the same except noon will see Ohio State playing that school up North in football. Nothing else exciting hopefully.
Chris, I'm sad for Cait's pain, but I always wonder about relationships that start so young. Hope she responds to all...
The hawk stayed over 2 hours yesterday. We think it must have just eaten (its Thanksgiving dinner?) and hadn't anywhere special to go. Or, as my avi suggests, it was checking Santa's list. And I might point out about avi size, unlike Cheery-Os, the rest of us are limited to 150 pixels on a side...
Had to use one of the many photos I took of the Red-shouldered Hawk that spent over 2 hours at our house on Thanksgiving. Guess it was checking for Santa's list.
