Don't leave home without it.
Taking a break from my warp-speed Christmas gift family vacation album to enjoy working with the FW$20P mini-palette offered now through October 3 only. This is a self-portrait page that documents a paddle across Mirror Lake in the Adirondacks this past August.

Ooooooh, nice! Yup, it's a cedar waxwing. Every winter we see bunches of them on our hikes, cleaning up what's left of the berries. Nice embellishment frame, too!
Plugging along on my Christmas-gifting project, documenting a recent family trip, this spread uses two pages from different template albums with stains that cross the gutter over solid background papers. The colors are definitely mish-mashy and in my quest to resist perfectionistic impulses, I...
I like to see documentation of the inner us, as so often it's the outer us that we commemorate. You're busy! Cave Glow is stocking some of my hats this winter so I've been a bit of a factory knitter here but thankfully it's pretty much a wrap. Still intending to learn to crochet. Oh--nice...
I love the journaling, and the playful layout complements it so well. Isn't it great when a page just falls into place? Hasn't been that way for me lately so hoping some of your magic will rub off on me. Love your wordart snips with the big bold "happy" anchoring it all.
For my family vacation album intended for Christmas gifting—the story of what happened when we weren't napping. As I have mentioned before, speed is of the essence in this project, and I have challenged myself to not giving in to maximalism and having to fill every corner with color or texture...
So much blah blah blah noise pollution, right? This is a message I wish certain politicians would internalize. Love the bold graphics and the colors you chose to express this topic.
My biggest challenge on this album is turning out to be the backgrounds—for some reason I am struggling to make them cohesive, especially at the gutter. Which takes time. What's working more or less is using a solid or semi-solid paper for the two background pages, then adding transfers and...
This is a lift of ksacry's spread, which you can enjoy here https://oscraps.com/community/media/anna-aspnes-digital-art-artplay-prismatic-collection-ksacry-stonehenge.368896/. I used the same templates and strategy as she did, just different backgrounds and embellishments. I had been ignoring...
Ha! You caught that! Usually I DO worry, but since I am trying to get this finished for family Christmas gifts, I have sworn not to obsess. It's KILLING me, LOL, but the deal with the devil is that I'll come back if time allows and even things out. But I can't always stick to that. The spread I...
This is an awesome spread! I love the repetition in the photos, and how the yellow traveled across the gutter to the right page. The use of scale and proportion is terrific too. I am banking ideas for my new album so you might see this spread lifted!
