On Thursday night I went down to the Riverfront Park hoping to view the US Pavilion light show... I spent an hour wandering aorund waiting for it to get dark, but then instead of colored lights, there was a movie... I eventually headed home... was not comfortable, sitting on the concrete steps...

I understand the concept, but not at all what I would expect of a Special occasions challenge.. that said, it worked for me, as you can see.... so many awful stories surrounding me.... hard to stay positive.

The main reason, for this trip was to see my sister one last time...She was diagnosed in June of 2021 with the same lung cancer that killed my husband Rodger, in 6 months! back in the mid 90’s. Her’s was one small tumor that should have been cut out, but the surgeon said she was not healthy...
