Yay! Finally figured the mess out!

For the last week I have had HORRIBLE ad issues on my laptop no matter what browser I was using! They were on everything but Facebook, LOL! They ran down both sides and across the bottom of everything and made it difficult to browse anywhere, even here at the O Today I went through all my programs and uninstalled all the junk my darling (using that term loosely tonight) child had installed while playing games and now they are GONE! I am a VERY happy girl because my O is clean again and I can play like a normal Cheery-O!

I was so mad it was just making me shut off the computer and walk away because I couldn't do anything without waiting on them to load on every page

Whew! So glad you figured that out. It seems that no matter how much protection we have, the adware people seem to find more ways to get around it.

I am so glad my kids are not yet to the point if downloading stuff on my computer. My 7 year old does have some obsession to YouTube which doesn't thrill me. She's not allowed on it but finds ways to get on it anyway. So the other day my mom was here and she didn't know Addie wasn't allowed in YouTube so she let her search for videos. So, Addie decided to watch Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball video. Apparently she turned it off halfway through with a comment along the lines if "Miley Cyrus has gotten so inappropriate." So yesterday I talked to her and told her I was very proud if her for recognizing something was inappropriate and turning it off. I have to grab onto these moments because I know she'll be the one who's inappropriate later.

Sorry...didn't mean to hijack your post with my story. Lol. So glad you figured out the adware crap.
