That chicken caprese looks wonderful! And my family would love it! I've added it to this week's menus. Thank you.If it is a rainy day, Chicken pot pie, pasta salad, which for us ends up lasting at least 3 meals. Chicken caprese is WONDERFUL, easy and soooooooo good!!
Meat prices are insane. Good idea for the leftovers in omelettes and pizzas. But think omelettes would be a good addition to out evening meals.(Translation in the gallery)
Always making sure to use all (or at least most) of our leftovers in soups or omelettes. Or on pizza. Everything's yummy on pizza.
Pasta and a tomato sauce with lentils are my go to meal. It's great to be vegetarian. The prices of meat right now is ridiculous!
My daughter loves boiled potatoes. She will also eat them as comfort food. For us... just boiled potatoes with butter and salt... our family's comfort food... my husband sometimes puts cottage cheese on top but we dont' always have it in the fridge...
Eggs are terrible...but you are right, they are one of the cheapest proteins available now. Brian has never liked breakfast for supper...I LOVE it! But I rarely do it. However, I think I'm going to add it to the menu one night a week. He can eat leftovers.I used to say eggs, but sheesh, a dozen eggs are $4 now. That is still way cheaper than just about any other protein, so egg salad is a good one. Angel hair with butter and cheese is one of my family's favorites.
Pancakes from scratch: flour, baking soda/powder is usually on hand
I think y'all could help here. You American just make bland, tasteless coffee anywayAll I can say is -- Hey! Sweden, keep your coffee inflation on your side of the world!
(please)
I am more than a little relieved that so far *KNOCKS WOOD REALLLLLY LOUDLY* coffee has been mostly stable here.
Brian could not live without his coffee. I'd struggle but I think he might die!Worst right now are the coffee prices. Ok ... I know it isn't food, but anyway. I'm more upset of the price of coffee, than the price of gas. LOL
