Good morning ladies. Hope everyone has a good weekend planned.

Big plans here today...going to the Christmas tree farm to pick up a tree. And finally getting my hair re-colored and cut. Just been too busy to find a block of time for that.:D

Elise, I checked out your blog! Wow girl, you've got some talent! Love those templates.

Sally, can't wait to see the photos from Emma's cowpoke party.

And did everyone get some good deals for Black Friday? Give us the scoop!

Oh LindaS The christmas tree farm sounds fabulous!! HAVE LOADS OF FUN!!!! Oh how I wish we could have a real tree!!! DH (well and DD when she still lived at home) have such bad allergies, and the live trees were horrible for them :( ...so we went to to the artificial tree!

But this reminds me something...I have to share my "Charlie Brown" story though.... When we were buying live trees, we went one year to pick out one and there were so many GORGEOUS trees to pick from, we were having such a hard time....I stumbled across the very short, but perfect little tree...it looked so out of place...I showed it to the girls and they were saying how cute it was....so I suggested we take it home...they turned their nose up at first and I reminded them that all of the trees needed a home, and what better home than ours!! So..........we bought it and brought it home, I brought a deck table in and covered it and put on that to give a bit of height and we had the best time decorating this tree!!! Because it did not take up much room, we were able to do some extra decorating around it too!! I NEED to find the pics of this tree...my photo albums are coming out today!!!!!!!!!

Well....today Cameran and I are hanging around the house...we just got back from Hardees...he wanted a gravy biscuit and did not want to wait for me to cook....We may ride to my step daughter's house (about 45 minutes)...this is the middle step daughter...the one that we actually love...LOL!!! NO NO NO...we love them all..she just never causes any problems...she and I have always been close...more so than the others...I think this comes from her being so much more open minded and a very accepting person. She and I have been trying to get together for about 3 months, and it just never works out...she and her boyfriend have been to visit us...no GIRL time for quite a while!!

Tomorrow....not sure what DH has on the agenda!

Okay...I am off to see what else had been going on.....and do a mini gallery run....Hugs for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

quick hello... am eating leftovers then I have to bake an pineapple upside down cake for my FIL's birthday today... hope everyone has a great day!

Linda!!! Thanks for checking it out :D (I made that LO into a template right away after reading so many of you liked it ;) So you helped!!) And I have more done today and another full kit! :) I don't know what to do now though it terms of selling and whatnot. lol. Anyway, same place if you want to see the newness http://blog.through-my-eyes.org/ :D

And as for deals. I didn't go out shopping and the only things I get were from Oscraps, lol. (Yes I have a problem!)

I hope you had fun picking out the tree! I've never got to do that. We always have used the artificial trees, and my grandma gets a real tree, but she just gets it from the little greenhouse in town so there really isn't much picking.

LindaW Love your story about the "Charlie Brown" tree. I'm sure I'd so something like that too! Hope you enjoyed your day at the house today!

Hi Hi Sandra! I've been eating leftovers too ;)

Oh Elisa...I left you some love the other day on your blog!! I think your stuff is amazing!!! The newest stuff too!! Glad you liked my Charlie Brown story!! hehehe!!

Cameran and I stayed in the house all day!!! I played with that child non stop all day too!!! I worn out last night....I kept Miss Savannah too last night...they brought her over around 3....her first overnighter!! and guess what...I am up so early because she got me up (she sleeps 9 hours a night normally) because she is running a fever....poor baby!!! She woke up at 4 and I fixed her bottle...poor thing threw every bit of it up as soon as she finished!!....so she and I got a quick bath!! Her mommy will be upset that she left her...but isn't that the usualy way?? Getting sick when you make plans?? She is asleep again...and I think I am going to lay back down....Cameran and DH will be up afterwhile and they will be wanting me to cook some breakfast!!

Since I was up I did a gallery run...I haven't been in there much over the holiday weekend!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go check it out!!! AMAZING STUFF IN THERE!!!!!!!!!

~~Yawn~~ I need to rest my eyes a bit longer!!!

(((HUGS)))

Good Morning my O-Fam. Just drinking some coffee and trying to get the fuzz out of my head.
Crazy weekend so far. Thursday was an awesome day, Friday, we got the news about my SIL's passing suddenly. Yesterday I worked all day in the house and on Faery-Wings orders. Got such a headache by the end of the day. Too many concentrated scents at once.
Today is some more F-W's orders.

Linda W- poor little girl!! Poor big mama and nana too. Hope that you all get some rest.
The first time Cait had an over night, she fell off my mom's bed- right in front of her, and plop! Right onto the hardwood floors. My mom was up all night with her, she called my ped., did everything perfect- just like you did. I felt guilty too, but I knew she was in great hands.
Hope you get some rest today- Have fun with C-man!

I love your Charlie Brown Tree story. When I was a kid I always cried for the trees that weren't chosen. It still makes me sad. I am such a sap. But what a great memory.

Elisa- wow- I loved checking out your blog- you sure do have some huge talent! I looked at both- your general blog and your photography blog- wow- you have a great eye!!

Sandra- hey girl!! Missed you lots- how have you been?

I am not sure if I am going to be around much today- depends on how quickly I can get myself moving....

But sending love and hugs to you all~~~~

Hey guys! I can't bellieve this is a weekend edition of the Daily O's, normally it is like4 or 5 pages looooong!!! haha!! no doubt everyone is getting over their Thanksgiving festivities! hope it was great for everyone!

Chris, thinking of you and your SIL, what a sad time for all of you, sending hugs and lotsa love!!!

LindaW, hope Savannah is feeling better! When I was visiting my youngest two little girls, Lanaia (15 months) woke up from her after lunch nap with a roaring fever! Mummy brought her out to the lounge room and sat with her, little one struggled off her lap and came over to Grandma and wanted to sit on my lap!! awww, it was just sooo gorgeous! Naya just cuddled in and boy, did that bring back memories of when the kids were little and sick!! thankfully it wasn't anything serious, she was cutting teeth and after half an hour or so, after Mummy gave her Panadol she was up and running around again!!

Elisa, haven't checked out your blog yet, want to do that later but I can imagine how great it will be, you are such a talented photographer and scrapper!!

Sandra, hey there, been missing you, hope you have been keeping well!

LindaS, how did your cut and colour go?? new woman?? I am going to my hairdressers tomorrow so I am presentable once again! LOL! :)

Its has been sooooooo hot here over the weekend!! on Saturday it reached 40 degrees here ( approx. 104F) and the humidity was up around 80% just terrible!! and guess what we were doing?? moving furniture out of our bedroom as DH is laying down a timber floor!! I came home from work one day to find some of our stuff out and some of the flooring already done! I am excited but I THOUGHT we were not going to start it until AFTER Christmas!! the whole house looks like a bomb has hit it as we have put dressers, cabinets etc etc all around the place!!! anyway, keeping positive about it all, I can't wait to re-decorate the room!! :)

Well it is Monday morning downunder and I am at work in the AIR CONDITIONING!! looks like another hot day coming up but they say it won't be as hot this week, BUT the weekend coming will be another scorcher!! oh joy!!! :)

Hope everyone has a great Sunday evening. Clara (WHERE are you girl, this place is sooooooo quiet!!! :)) and Dawn??? we are missing you (and Davey), Andrea, Sally, Kat and to everyone else a big HELLO!! :)

Well...Ladies...I am back in late this evening asking for your prayers, and positive thoughts tonight....My little Savannah had to be put in the hospital. She is probably going to be there for a week...she has an infection and may need surgery..they are going to wait a couple of days to see if antibotics start working before deciding for sure, but they feel like it she will most likely have to have it. We are still waiting to hear about her blood work to see if this has gotten into her bloodstream. Cameran is with me...and Mom and Dad are, obviously, staying at the hospital with the little princess.

Thanks ladies.

OH NO!! LindaW!! that is terrible!! poor little Savanah! sending you heaps and heaps of postive thoughts and love to all of you! what a terrible thing to happen. lots of {hugs} sweetie! you know we will all be thinking of you!!! xo

Oh Linda W. Just catching up here. Prayers for sweet little Savannah! I am praying that the infection can be controlled with the antibiotics! Please keep us posted.

Poor Savannah! I hope that the antibiotics start working for her!! I'll be thinking and praying about her!

praying, praying, praying for little Savannah, LindaW!! keep us posted, hun!!! infections are scary!!

Oh Linda!! Savannah was supposed to have the flu not an infection. My goodness. What kind of surgery is she needing? Oh my poor nana!! I am praying for that sweet little baby girl and for her family and you. I can't even imagine what you must be going through. Keep us updated and let us know how she is and how we can pray for her.

I also want to share some horrific news...this morning 5 police officers were drinking coffee in a coffee shop in Parkland. It is part of the city of Lakewood, with is on the south end of Tacoma. Tacoma/Lakewood is the town on the North side of McChord Air Force Base and Ft. Lewis. I live on the south side of Ft. Lewis in Lacey...just to give you an idea of the area. It is about 10 miles north of me and about 20 blocks from my first apartment 12 years ago. Anyway, these cops were just drinking their coffee when some crazy person came in and shot them, basically executionary. No one else was hurt. It was a direct attack on the police officers. I know there was another attack recently and I have heard it is possibly the same person, but I don't know. I just don't understand it. It horrifies me. My heart absolutely breaks for this insane act of violence that makes no sense. Police men know that they can get injured or even killed in the line of duty, but while drinking coffee? That is just wrong in every possible way. Please pray for this situation and just for the state of the world that these crazy things could happen.

Sorry I haven't been around this weekend. Just a crazy busy weekend I guess. I'll be here tomorrow and hopefuuly cheery and back with thanksgiving in my heart.

How horrible the news are here ...
Linda I hpe that your little princess feel better ... I'm thinking of her ...
