Welcome to the Use-it-All Challenge for 2023! My name is Karen of Karen Schulz Designs, and I am your hostess for this challenge.

I find it interesting and inspirational to see how we can all use the same papers and elements, yet create totally different scrapbook pages or projects. That is the thought which prompted this challenge.

Mother's Day is this month, and it is a reminder to honor the women who have been instrumental in our lives; whether that person is your mother, aunt, grandmother, friend, or mentor. Mother's and Daughters was created specifically for this purpose, and so this is the Collection I have chosen for this month's challenge.

The rules for this challenge are simple, so put on your creative hat and have fun!

Challenge Rules:

1. Download the Mother's & Daughters Add-On from my shop.

2. Your Challenge is to create a scrapbook page OR project or some sort (poster, greeting card, hybrid project) using all of the papers & elements included in the download.

3. You MAY use other pieces from any of my kits/collections, but you MUST use all of the pieces within this download.

4. Post your layout in this thread and also in the Karen Schulz Designs Gallery.

Hi Karen, Thank you for the Add-On! I love the papers! I layered them on my page then used a mask to brush away parts of each paper. I love the result!

I used pieces from the Collection to compliment my page.

Here is one from me... a bit of a surprise... Not on my to do list!!!! Since I have scrapped already virtually all photos of myself, my mother, my daughter, my grandmother... and the only woman not a family member who I would give this honor to.... I was at a bit of a loss for subject matter.... opened my photos folder, and started at the top, old scans of vintage photos!!! Debated about a couple , and then I realized who this photo was of... My Great grand father and his last wife... I say last wife because I have discovered some murky references to a very short lived marriage prior to marrying my great grandmother who produced 10 children for him... my grand mother being the youngest... this wife died when my Grandma was an infant. I knew he had eventually married again, but had never documented it... this woman was the person , my Mom called Grandma... Once when I asked her what her Grandmother's name was, she said she had no idea... Just Grandma!!!!!! So Thank you so much for the challenge Karen... This will be a nice addition to my Heritage album....
