Oscraps

The colours of summer

I don’t know about you, but many of the photos that I create with (both my own photos AND the old family ones I have inherited) were taken in Summer. Which is not surprising as it’s when we are often out in the fresh air, having adventures and travelling.

A quick google image search for “summer scrapbook” will result in lots and lots of pages made with bright yellow, blues and pink. Which is perfect (and fun) for scrapbooking kids and days at the pool, but my summer photos don’t tend to look like that.

Most summer days aren’t candy coloured. They are warm but often windy, wild and breezy.

The colours in my new "Summer Freedom" collection are perfect for scrapping photos from days like that, and for celebrating “fresh air adventures”, whether at the coast, the lake or just exploring outdoors.

Here's how I used it for my own family albums :)

Absolutely stunning collection Lynn and totally agree with you, my own summer photos seem to be more subtle in colour as well.

This is beautiful and I love the palette because in Minnesota at least, our 5 minutes of summer is not all sunshine and lolliipops.
