I want to thank every one of you- I want to give you all the biggest hug I can.
Some of you have already seen my FB status and written some aweosme notes.
We got the letter from the judge yesterday and Gary is approved for Social Security Disability. Such a huge weight has been lifted. A very very special Christmas present- it has been a long road and one that isn't over, but it is a hurdle that is over with. Whew!!!!!

I need to thank you for being there, listening to me, praying for me, supporting me and my family.

I know I have said it before, but I could *not* have gotten through the last year (or 2 or 3...;)) without my O-Fam!!

I love you all!!!

Oh my gosh!! That is so awesome for you and your family!! I am completely emotional for you! I saw that you got it and started crying for you. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of relief you and Gary must be feeling right now. I'll bet you are giddy and sunshine is just radiating out of you right now. I wish I could give you a big giant hug, but I'm going to have to just keep track so I can give them all to you when I get to Cozumel. :) Love you girl!!
 
I think i can safely say we ALL cried when we saw this!!! I'm still crying tears of joy, chris!! I know how tough this road has been!! And what a marvelous testimony you have of such a great support system here through all of it!! I LOVE the phrase..."never doubt a nana!!" and I also say never doubt the power of LOVE, cause that's what you get here!! A great big HUGGY (the eye-popping kind, thanks to Clara) pile of LOVE!!! yay!!!!

Thank you so much- you know you have awesome friends when you can share the bad times as well as the good- so happy to have a "good time" Yay!

In fact, it seems to be a bit contagious- I also found out a friend of mine is pg, my neighbors are buying the piece of property that butts up against our house (The people who own it now wanted to build a house on it- our house is literally at the edge of the property line and if they wanted to put up a fence, we wouldn't be able to walk into my back yard) , and my mom's mammogram came back perfectly fine.

Now all I need is some good juju for my brother to get a call for a baby to adopt and then things will be perfect!!

Chris - I just saw this post... oh honey, I'm so happy for you guys... this is just awesome news and so needed! I know the wait has been hard, but as the saying goes: good things come to those who wait... and goodness knows you all had to wait long enough!
 
Chris, I commented on FB, but wanted expand here - I'm so happy for you guys! I know it's been heavy weight for you recently, and I'm so glad that's been lifted for you!
