Scrapping goals for 2022?

...do you have any? A technique you want to try? A style to explore? An album to complete?

During 2021 I somehow discovered - accidentally and without trying to or even meaning to - that I art journaling pages come to me naturally, while traditional style-layouts are hard. The paradox in this is that I used to be so intimidated by artsy pages, I somehow felt they were for artists only, while traditional scrapping was what memory keeping was so the majority of my scrapping - and the kits I owned - was traditional style.

So for 2022 I want to explore pages that are not necessarily 'practical' album material but an exploration of blending, stacking and clustering techniques... Starting with this one... I've been admiring all those 'white' artisty pages in gallery for a while now and decided to give it a try.

My goal is to do more hands on physical mixed media and art journaling. I’m enjoying playing with all the messy goodness…. So I do want to learn more techniques for that and some water color techniques.

My goal is to work on extractions. I can do them but I would like to learn more about the little tweaks you can do in PS to perfect them.

Also, I want to work more with minimalist pages and textures. I had gotten away from that over the last few years but sometimes I feel my photos get lost in a page and want to do more to showcase some of them.

My goal is to do more artsy/mixed media pages, try to do more challenges all around scrap town, scrap pocket pages since I don't usually, and get used to doing more journaling in my pages and hopefully go out and take more candid photography of my kids especially my son lol.

I don't have any specific goals. One thing that I *should** do is similar to @scribler. I have used a Wacom for years and years but mostly for brushwork, not as a touchpad. I still rely on my mouse. When I got my first Wacom, it was small and I am not that coordinated so I got into the habit of switching back and forth between mouse and pen. I would like to switch to more of pen and touchpad but it takes a lot of work and time. I read that it is best to put your mouse away to force yourself to relearn how to zoom and scroll but I never stay committed to doing that

I too would like to learn to use my Wacomb tablet more effectively! I need to learn how to set it up so that I can use all of the shortcuts for photoshop. Other than that I would just like to have my scrapping mojo return to me.

I started in 2021 with making an album of all our trips, of my photos, but I'm still a little behind with that project...
