The DST contest ends on May 25th.

Just FYI, Ripal at Scrappers Online and Hollie of DeviantScrap have teamed up to bring back the REAL awards with the categories and the judging from previous years. I am going to support them in this endeavor. It's being hosted over at Ripal's site.

Also, I have requested that all of my layouts be removed from the SCAs at DST. For those of you that are continuing on, best of luck.

I am just getting up to speed on all this as someone kindly nominated me at REAL awards. I think its great and admire your decision Laura - a popularity contest just does not seem the way to go at DST.

So best of luck to everyone.

Hollie contacted me via facebook and was asking designers to offer coupons for awards to Ripals awards. I don't participate in either contest but did give coupons from my shop for honorable mentions in the World Scrappers Awards. In my humble opinion all the layouts are awesome in both contests...

Thanks for more info in this thread Laura, I asked in another thread when the REAL awards were actually happening? it sounds like it is going on now? and what are the guidelines for this particular contest.

I will contine voting for anyone else still at the DST contest but will find out more on the other as well.

Here's the ad for the Scrappers World Awards. In truth, they are exactly what the SCAs were in years past. Submissions are open until May 21st. After submissions are closed, each category will be judged by a panel of experts. You need to come over and submit some of your rocking layouts! There are two divisions, submissions and nominations...which do not compete against each other.

oooh yeah, this looks terrific Laura, thank you!! I will check this out today........does it have to be an LO specifically made for the contest I wonder, or can you use an older one?? hmm. will go and check out the guidelines, looks like fun! :)
