prayers, please?

i got a short email from my DIL as they were on their way to the doctor's office for more blood tests. later my son called to say that nothing will be known at all until Monday. so. more waiting. thank you again for the prayers.

Phylis, all my love and prayers for that little grandman and his grandma. Being in that not knowing state is so so hard. All my love to his parents too. Isn't it nice to know you have two digi friends so close by? Hugs to you sweetie.

I know this isn't much of a comfort because you still have to wait but if they thought something was really bad, they wouldn't be waiting until Monday, KWIM? So the waiting may be a good sign, I hope. Will continue to think of you.
 
Chris, everyone is waiting this out in a hotel. my DIL says that he does not seem ill. i hope that's a good sign.

That's always my feeling too, hope that it is correct.

I am glad that DIL is saying that he is feeling ok- that also has to be another good sign.
 
my heart goes out to you and the parents, it's the uncertainty of not knowing what.

it's a good sign they didn't admit the little one straight away.If he's been referred to Great Ormond Street , it's an excellent hospital and they will get to the bottom of the problem.
They are very good in looking after the parents too.
will be thinking of you and sending lots of positive vibes that way

i finally heard something. apparently they want to keep my grandson for a few more days to do some more blood work, but everyone seems to feel that all the wonky stuff is caused by the virus he was fighting. i'm saying to myself that this is thoroughness and nothing to be alarmed about. that seems to be what i'm supposed to be thinking. what a day this has been! don't grown up kids realize that they can't leave Grandparents hanging by a thread, imagining the worst all day, with NO information?

I'm so happy you finally know "something"! if more tests are needed have them done and you'll stay on my prayer list!

Gosh, Phylis, I would feel the same way, we always think the worst with no or little information. Glad it is looking better, will still send prayers his way until this is resolved! (hugs)
 
Sorry to hear about your grandson but thankfully it's not as bad as it seems. Praying for speedy recovery.
 
P- i checked in last night before I went to bed, and was so happy to hear the news.
May all the gods help me when I am a grandma- I am not good with waiting either! But you have done admirably.

Phylis, been thinking agout you and your family and hope all the additional results are good. Best to check it all out for sure.
