I lOve Me Some O!
I have it set to 40 posts a page. can't stand only a few posts a page. makes me crazy!!

Agreed. I like scrolling better and hate having to click next page after only a few posts.

Plus since November is the month for posting obnoxiously, then this helps out with that too :D hehehehe

Come on Jaqueline you are doing great and everyone is just rocking the challenge already!! I got stuck in the gallery yesterday afternoon and am filling up the Standing O's.......make sure you go and check it out!!! ok, better run, my manager is coming to day so better tidy up the office :D

We normally go back into town (5 mins) for lunch but today there is a HUGE Jacaranda Festival happening. The festival runs for a week while the Jaca's are in flower, beautiful mauve coloured blooms. Today all the shop keepers get dressed up in various costumes and do up their stores or offices........so you can see things like a vampire den in the bank and all the bank tellers are dressed up as vampires or just next door at the hairdressers the girls are dressed up as can can girls and have decorated their shops accordingly.

Some of the shops put on 'shows' outside their premises and will mime to songs and do dances. The main street is closed and they have markets set up down the centre. It really is a sight to see, everyone is dressed up and little ones have their faces painted and their hair colour sprayed as well. The local bakery has mauve coloured breads and cakes on sale as well and their is also mauve coloured ice cream for sale!

Our company has won the 'gold cup' award for the last 3 years!! I have been their official photographer in past years but last year I was away on holidays and this year I don't think I will even make it down the street unless my manager wants to go down and have a look! Ok, I have done a 'Clara' :) and written a book so will find some photos from years past and post a couple!! :) Happy Jacaranda!!!
