I would take some of that secret potion or secret method. I didn't do much participation in challenges this month but I think I'll hop into the challenge galleries and do some lovin. that might do the trick.

I can chit chat as I am posting away in the gallery. they rescheduled Halloween around here. WTH??? Halloween is today not yesterday. I get the whole saturday night thing but still. What other Holidays are they gonna reschedule because they are inconvenient?? My kids dressed up both days.
 
Why did they reschedule? just because it was a Sat. night???? that's cute that Ethan and Addie got to dress two nights!!! LOL!! did they go trick or treating??? did they get much loot??? :)

YES.....We did the trick or treat from about 6 until 8....I cut the light off and turn them away after that!! Usually only BIG KIDS that are not even dressed up come after that....

Clara.....I am not sure why this whole SATURDAY night thing into issue....Back in 1999 it was pretty much a WIDE spread thing to change it from Sun to Sat....but the last time it fell on Sun....they did not even talk about changing....but some religious groups starte about two weeks ago fussing and mussing over the EVIL of the holiday....and wanted it changed to Sat....it wasn't changed here..but some neighboring cities and counties did change....
 
They did trick-or-treating here tonight....neighboring places were yesterday.

My little cousin Renee got to go 5 different times since there were things earlier this month too.

I opened my studio tonight & did pictures of some kids in their costumes. At least 50 families.. So I was out today, now trying to get caught up, lol.
 
it was a county wide thing here. something about being a school night. i don't think it is an more evil on sunday than any other day. the evil intent for those that find evil in holloween find it evil no matter what day it is on. i think it is just silliness. let the holiday be on the stupid day. goodness gracious. that's just me though. i went to church this morning and went trick or treating so what do those crazy churches think of me. my goodness. anyway...

i do love dressing up my kids for halloween though. i was going to go trick or treat in andrea's neighborhood but they did it last night on post. :(
 
oh really Linda!!! its evil??? LOL! Its really only All Saints Day and All Souls Day.....rolled up into one I guess. with just a few witches and goblins thrown in to make it a bit more interesting!!! :biggrin:
