Angel is the newest member of our household.
After our dog Joep died, we decided we did not want another dog. We both work, the kids, although still living at home, have their own lives. But the loss remained, the longing for a dog got stronger and stronger.
We couldn't resist, we wanted a new dog.
An older dog from the shelter. We wanted a wonderful dog with good behaviour if possible, which nobody wanted. Just a dog to give a home for his or her last years.
Boy, did we get lucky. We found Angel. Nobody wanted her, she has lived in the shelter of one and a half years. She is the best. She is happy, friendly, she listens so well, she walks on the leash perfectly. I can't understand why nobody wanted her. Maybe because she is an American Staphordshire. That breed isn't too popular here, but she truly is a miracle. She has been with us for only half a day, but I am totaly in love!
