so that you can claim your challenge points. Thank you! :flower:

Hi Everyone! Amy here! I'll be hosting this month's template challenge. I love templates - mostly as a starting place.
And, almost 100% of the time when using a template, I love to re-arrange it in some manner to make it my own.
A single layout template can offer infinite unique possibilities!

For this month, I have created a template for you to re-arrange! There are lots of pieces and shapes for you to play with!
I can't wait to see how many creative arrangements you all come up with!

Here is my layout with the template re-arranged:

RULES:
-The rules are simple - Download and re-arrange the template and create a unique layout.
-You may download the FREE Layout Template HERE (Or click on the image)
-Please use ALL of the pieces in any manner you like.
  • Here is a checklist of all pieces that make up the template:
    • 2 rectangles
    • 2 squares
    • 1 circle
    • 1 triangle
    • 9 strips
    • 1 artsy mask
    • 1 journal spot
    • 2 outer borders
- You may re-size the pieces as long as they are recognizable.
- You may add anything you like.
-There are grey scale elements in the template. These are intended to represent elements and are not literal pieces of the template ie the actual shape of them. You may exchange/substitute these shapes for suitable elements or even keep the shapes and fill them with color, paper or images. You may use them as you like.
- Please use 80% Oscraps products that are currently in the store.
- Non-Oscraps products or retired O designer products can be used whether the designer is selling elsewhere or not.
- You need to credit all the products used on your layout.
- Your layout can not be used for more than one challenge.
- Your page must be posted in the Challenge 5 gallery by midnight PST October 31, 2024 and linked back to this thread (see below on how to add your linked layout).
- And do not forget to update the CURRENT MONTH'S TRACKING THREAD to be eligible for your coupon.

Adding a linked layout from the Gallery to a thread:
1. Upload your layout to the gallery first. In your forum post click the Gallery Embed icon (little camera).
2. This will open your gallery, simply click on the layout you require, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Continue button.
3. Your linked layout is now in your post, the image will appear once you have clicked the Post Reply button.

THANK YOU to everyone who has participated in the challenge so far! There are wonderful layouts already, and it's so fun to see how many differently creative ways a template can be rearranged. Virtually endless!
REMEMBER that as you are moving the pieces around your page, you need to use all the pieces/shapes in the template, and the shapes need to be recognizable. There lies the challenge! ;)

Thanks for the challenge, Amy! Not crazy though, about way too many parts. Like a 10,000-piece puzzle when I love the 5,000 piece ones. :p I soldiered through, think it's OK, but not easy for me to create a strong design and flow, although I totally love fixing the templates, because I have to anyway.

This was such a fun challenge, Amy. Thanks so much for the template! Here's mine:

This is so fun! The purples and blues with all the blending totally looks like outer space. The triangles look like a rocket ship. You did a great job capturing the moving light in your photos! Thank you for participating in the challenge!

I love the feel of your layout. It feels like I'm right there with you in the fog and haze. Beautifully done. You did a great job capturing all the pieces and reassembling them. Thank you for joining the template challenge for this month!

Fun challenge! Here is my page.

This is wonderful! You did a great job keeping track of all the pieces! I love your color palette, and how you incorporated your strips under the journaling. Looks great! Thank you for joining in on our template challenge!

So beautifully done! the journaling over the blended photo brings such a creative, textured element and its so readable. The vintage feel of your layout is so appealing. The journal strips as tape pieces is a nice touch. Thank you for joining in on the challenge!

Thank Amy, this was fun!!!

This is SO much fun! First, the color palette is fun and energetic, as are your pictures of Nessie and Toklat! You did an excellent job of rearranging everything in a unique manner! The rotated border is a creative idea. I think it lends to the energy too. Thank you for joining the challenge!

Thank you for the free Template and the challenge

How adorable is this!! You did a great job capturing all the pieces and making your layout unique! I love that photo - so much happiness! Thank you for joining the template challenge!

This was my second try at this template, and I found it much easier to use when I took a different approach and didn't try to make it work. And I totally enjoyed it! :p :p :p

This was tough! LOL 100% out of my typical style which makes for a good challenge, Amy!

Here is my rearranged template. Thank you for the challenge Amy
Looks great Debby! You did a nice job sneaking in all those journaling strips and keeping your whole layout fluid and pretty! The rope you added gives just the right amount of movement, and I love the way you masked your photo over the frame of the two squares. Thank you for joining in on our template challenge!

Delightful challenge and it was a trick to keep track of all the bits.

You did a very good job keeping track of all the bits! This challenge has been more challenging than I expected! Your dark background looks wonderful behind your crisp photos. It looks like you had a great day even if you didn't see all the birds you had hoped to! I love your layout. Thank you for joining in on the challenge!

How cute to have a lamb in the house!! You did a great job capturing all the pieces of the template! Love your colors, and the way you stacked the strips and told your story is super creative. I love that. Thank you for joining in on our template challenge!
