I'm another that jumped on the A-train... following Anna and her lovely art... I live in the valley on the east side of the Colorado Rockies... not far from Anna... DH and I are retired... one son in Montana who's a college prof... no grands... my pages will include our Lab, Fenway and DS's Lab, Henry... best pals... I didn't receive the creativity gene at birth so I love the inspiration here that will trigger a direction to go or a page to lift that helps me learn... most of my pages will be the incredible scenery we look at daily... looking forward to some time to scrap/create... such fun seeing faces I "know" hopping on the A-train as well... Carol
 
Hi Carol! If you don't have the creativity 'gene' you certainly acquired it the harder way. Practice, practice, practice!

I'm so sorry dh's work hasn't taken him to Longmont or Boulder for a while. Oh well, I had my days.
 
hi, Carol. can i say how happy i am that you're here?? OK! i'm SO happy you're here! and i'm jealous that you have REAL mountains to look at every day, not the mere LUMPS that i live among....

Carol :welcome: to the O! I love scenery pages- my son's have left home and rarely return- still in their 20's and not attached.

Hi carol! I love pics of Labs- we have a black lab mix we rescued a few years ago and she is sure a pretty girl. Cannot wait to meet your fur-babies.

As far as having no creative gene- anyone who is on the A-train has gobs of them!

Now I have an earworm, but that's ok. Most of you may be too young to even know that song! It was a standard in my childhood, mostly cause my mother and aunt used to dance a lot around the house to 78rpms.
 
Hey Carol! So nice to see you here :) I have SO many of your layouts in my favs from your gorgeous heritage layouts/book (at another site) so, I must disagree about your "creativity gene" - you got it girl!!! PS: Love Colorado, almost moved there 20 years ago, my brother lives in Lakewood. BEautiful scenery for sure!
