I used a paper from Amica Collection (Lynn Grieveson) for the bottom layer, and one from the Wrinkles set Vicki Stegall) for the texture.

for the background I started with lgrieveson-begin-pp01 and then layered lgrieveson-begin-pp04 on top with linear burn applied.

The base paper is from Joyce Paul's Zoo Time, Paper Messy 4. Then I used Crafty Button's Mask for the large photo. Another paper, Paper 8, from Palvinka's Boy Zone is then layered on top of both with 31% opacity. Credits in gallery. Thanks for the challenge.

For this artsy challenge, you had to create a fused background. I used all joyful heart design...

I used all joyful heart design goodies. On a white background I added joyfulheartdesigns-paperpalooza1-paperpiece3 then desaturated it and used exclusion blend mode to add the right amount of grunge.
