Hello, Ladies!
I should have introduced myself earlier, but I wanted to have a proper avatar before I did; I've now tried about 10 times and still can't get it up even after the tutorial in the Need Help thread, ha ha! I think it's time to call an adult!

I'm so in heaven with all the incredible layouts in the gallery! WOW! Such artistry! I am genuinely in awe of the immense talent and, of course, beautiful kits by the designers! Thanks so much to everyone who has all ready given me such a warm welcome! I'll see you around!

For your avatar ... have you seen the format you need to use to create your avi?
"The maximum size of your custom image is 200 by 200 pixels or 250.0 KB (whichever is narrower)."

Marijke, you were the adult I was looking for! On the page where you upload the photo, it says 350 x 350, so that's the size I was making it :eek:hwell: I tried 200 x 200 and it says the upload failed. Well, if this is the worst thing that happens this weekend, it's been a pretty good weekend!
I'll keep trying, but I'm not going to bother about it. Thank you so very much for coming to my aid!

Welcome to the O, Kasey! Avatars and signatures can be fickle things, keep at it!
Try logging out, clearing your cache, and then logging back in. Sometimes that helps.

The size might have been right but it might have exceeded 250 KB? That's happened to me a few times too where I think I had the right size but it exceeded the limit so I've gone into photoshop and decreased the avatar percentage until it gets accepted.

Maybe try that?

Hi Kasey and welcome to Oscraps............ it can all be very confusing, changing avi's and signatures and the like...........as Vicki said, email your avatar image to her and she can get it set up for you behind the scenes! :)
