I've been a bit absent after a tough time healthwise (and aged parent-wise) :rolleyes1:. We also had a lovely trip away, which I wasn't sure I was going to manage until we actually boarded the plane!

Now I am back and tempted by the great palette for this month's ColorPlay because I always love an ocean or nautical themed collection!

So here I am top-toeing back with the "Nantucket" collection :tiptoe:

I scrapped myself wrapped up on a windy beach during that break away:

And with my older sister on a ferry many years ago!

Plus I returned to the amazing slides that my mother in law brought back after her travels in 1960!

Thanks for peeking!

What a beautiful collection, Lynn! We are so happy to have you back! I am so sorry to hear you have had health issues and health issues with parents. ((((HUGS))))

I agree that your layouts are always quite invoking, so when I am trying to pick layouts of NEW products for the newsletter (I am supposed to focus on NEW products, for the most part), and I see that you have posted usually at least 2-5, I get excited, and it is difficult to choose what to use!! LOL I REALLY loved the Youth Hostel one (I never knew that there was a ship version of a hostel!!!!), and decided to make it the first layout for the last newsletter...I grew up SO differently than you and have never had the many wonderful experiences that you share in your layouts with each collection that you create. It's always a journey with your photographs that I am happy to get to experience :heartpumplove: I think one of my top favs is the one that I used in the NL just like a week or two ago of your Dad taking a selfie with his dog...it was in the 70's, if I remember correctly, and just the way the photo looked reminded me so much of all of the photos of my family that I have seen from the 70's, I was born 1975 so I wasn't in a ton of them, but I have always loved looking at the older photos from the 70's and BEFORE...black and white ones are ALWAYS so wonderful, as well...or the photos that are b&w or more of an almost sepia, but they painted a bit of color on the photo, like on a woman's lips....those are so pretty to me! I have a photo framed of my Nana where you can see that was done and I love it so much :heartpumpred: The photo that your Dad took turned out amazing, and it was also bittersweet because I am assuming that sweet dog has passed. It was just perfection to me....such a precious moment captured by him and then the graphics that you created that you chose to use was just perfection :heartpumplove::heartpumplove::heartpumplove: Sorry, I know this isn't about your latest collection, I just felt like I needed to share with you how much I really loved your Dad's photo with his sweet dog :beatingheart::heartpumpred::beatingheart:
