I knew I'd pique your curiosity. I'm just wondering - our internet is running really slow tonight and is kind of "glitching". It really slows my momentum down especially when I have a lot of things to post. Do you experience the same thing in your posting? It really messes up my momentum.

Our internet has been glitchy lately, too! And it does drive me nuts to have to wait at times. I think it is part of living in an immediate gratification age the reason it causes us to have immediate expectations.

You and me both. I remember plugging in and going to fix a cup of coffee while it was connecting, but still.....................it's 2023. Grrrrrr.

Immediate gratification MIGHT have something to do with it, but it's 2023 for goodness sake. We pay a lot for it and I don't think it's too much to ask for. It's just SO annoying!

P.S. The company that we get our internet service from came out recently and put in a new box. They said it was going to make our service better. Now, there was nothing wrong with our service. Ever since that, we've noticed a little bit of "less speed" and some glitches, but it's been really bad today. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!".

The good news is that lots of people are here enjoying the party, bad news is it seems to be slowing things down. But I'm happy to deal with a bit of slowness, knowing that it's b/c an excess of people are here having fun.

we usually have good speeds, but recently our internet has been slowing down and then internet goes out for 5-? min or hour(s). My neighbor next door and my daughter (1 block away on the same side of the street. ) and several other neighbors have had problems, so we escalated the problem to a regional office and they are sending out guys to check the lines and nodes in the neighborhood. This problem happened a few years ago and again. Very frustrating.

It very well could be, Chris! It takes so much longer to do everything right now. Mine seems a little slower and glitchier in general, but I think you're right because it IS slower here than other places. That's a good thing, right??? I mean, it means we're having lots of people here having a fun time. :cake2::birthday2:

It IS very frustrating! We ALL work from home here on the ranch so it effects ALL of us! My DD, Son-in-law and GD have REAL jobs and I don't know if you saw my first post, but the company brought new boxes to all of us recently and said our service was going to be better and faster (there was NOTHING wrong that we could tell). We swear that ever since, it has been SLOWER and GLITCHIER!! I said "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". SO frustrating, I agree!

We do have increased traffic here at Oscraps this weekend - YAY! But, w\e are noticing it at home in general, at work, my husband's work and the TV. The IT guy at work was talking about lots of huge denial of service attacks happening all over.

I noticed the forum running slowly a few nights ago, and today is the worst it has been. I am not having Internet issues. It must be the extra traffic. Eva, I adore your ketchup obsession....I enjoy it on boxed mac and cheese, and also on my scrambled eggs ;)
