I'm nuts, are you nuts, not everyone's nuts

You have a VERY good reason to partially nuts supreme fairy mother, since you are the reason we are all here deciding who's nuts and who's not according to a fairy who's mostly nuts. Cooked peanuts , part of me wants to go eewww, but since I've never tried them, I can't really say that, but I think it's very interesting cooked is ok, but roasted isn't?
Roasted, yes. But, also, in the south we have a thing called Boiled Peanuts. And, then there is blanched nuts for baking, too :)

Blanched peanuts sound intriguing, after I'm finished with birthday fairy duties I'm going to flitter to the library and "check out" boiled peanuts. :dancingbfly: :fairy2:

Not a big nut fan here, and I like them 'straight' rather than baked in something and yeah, not a fan of nuts on ice-cream either. I love cashews and I love peanut butter straight out of the jar! lol!

Fun story, my mother used to grow peanuts and I can remember helping her to dig them up, putting my little hands in the dirt, feeling around for the peanuts in their shells to pull them out. She would then clean them off and put them on a tray to roast and house would smell of peanuts, so yummy! :lovey3:

I will be the weirdo in the bunch, as much as I do enjoy a good tiny bowl of mixed nuts, I do not enjoy nuts in my cookies or anything else much. The exception would be pecan pie :giggle4: I mean, I will still eat it, but once they are baked into things, the texture changes and......meh....:hiding1: NOW THEN, that pistachio muffin that our sweet Amanda posted a pic of is just like the pistachio muffins from Sprouts that I rarely get to enjoy because it is almost an hour from our tiny town now. Ugh. :voodoodoll: Their pistachio muffins are DIVINE, they are just green and are yummy goodness, no actual nut pieces..I just don't like how the nuts get softer....I mean, I would still eat a delicious cookie with nuts in it, just not my fav...lol :heartpumplove::heartpumplove::heartpumplove: The banana bread recipe I grew up eating calls for nuts but I keep them out because of me not liking nut bits in it, and it is also more expensive...lol

Do you really have fairy wings ? You're a smart fairy , if someone says nuts to you, you sure can tell them a lot about themDo you really have fairy wings ? You're a smart fairy , if someone says nuts to you, you sure can tell them a lot about them- you must be a special kind of fairy if you can blow your mind, I can only blow my nose.:dancingbfly::dancingbfly::dancingbfly:
I do have wings, only a few people can see them. I have to keep up my image out in public. :giggle4:

Well duh, of course nuts!!!
Pecan pie, nut breads and Yes Yes Yes to Amandas pistachio muffin, My ex daughter in law makes me angel food cake with pistachio filling and frosting----MY FAV, Pistachio ice cream too.
Why do you need to keep talking about sweet food??? I'm hungry again

I like nuts, but only plain by themselves. I like Pecans, and cashews mostly, almonds are so-so, and peanuts, not so much! There's like one specific brand of roasted peanuts that I like. But I love Peanut butter. Walnuts make my mouth break out so it's probably an allergy. But - nuts are a NEVER baked into anything! I'm with @AK_Tracy and @Cherylndesigns on that!
My problem is I like them plain too, which is why I can't have them in my fairy house because I would eat them all the time and my wings wouldn't be able to flutter me around. I like peanut butter too, but only if it's crunchy. I don't keep it around either because I would eat it right out of the jar and have same wing problem. Yikes, mouth sores would be terrible.:fairy2::fairy1::fairy2::fairy1:

I love them straight too, that's why I can't have them in my fairs house because I would eat them constantly and get more roly poly and my wings wouldn't be able to flutter me around. I love peanut butter straight out of the jar too, beet only if it's chunky . Guess what, I can't have that in my house either. What a fun memory with your mom, it would be extra wonderful if you had pictures. I can almost smell them and it's making me hungry. :fairy1: :fairy1:

My problem is I don't do tiny bowls of anything so yet again it's a body size/wing thing. There's a human I flutter around who makes crock pot oatmeal and feels the same way about the texture of the nuts after it's cooked for 8 hours, she puts them on after now. you are definitely NOT a weirdo, you are your own kind of normal, just like me. Nets have gotten expensive.

I LOVE angel food cake, that sounds so good with pistachio filling - I know what you mean, it's making me really hungry too.
