well i have been back for almost a week now...but was trying to catch up with CT work since i was gone for 3 weeks on vaca!! the trip was good....driving 21 hours....it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be lol....we drove straight through me and dh taking turns driving....left on the 16th at 6pm and got to VA the 17th at 3pm....we ran into a TINY bit of snow in Chicago and then a little in the mountains but nothing major....then on the 24th we drove 8 hours up to Mass then 8 hours back on the 26th....then 21 hours back home on Jan 6th! weeee for long vacations LOL

lol i would have rather flown...well i dunno..like i said it wasn't that bad! we usually do fly out there but ticket prices plus a rental car...outrageous prices!! it only cost us 140 dollars in gas to get from NE to VA!! about 360 total for all the trips....a LOT less than 2k plane tickets thats for sure!!
