I am Anne and, though I live in south east Spain in the province of Valencia, I am in fact English. I'm 68 years old and a retired secondary school (ie high school) teacher.

I enjoy all aspects of digital scrapbooking, but am especially interested in learning the "creative" and "artistic" skills involved such as blending and compositing. I would say that the major influences on my scrapping so far have been Linda Sattgast, Cassie Jones and Jessica Sprague for basic skills and Pattie Knox, Anna Aspnes and, most recently, Jana Morton for the creative stuff. I also owe a debt of gratitude to Scott Kelby, Dave Cross and Matt Kloskowski for their great teaching on Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and Lightroom.

I'm not a very good contributor to forums, I'm afraid, though I do enjoy reading them! I'll try to improve.....

hi, Anne! lucky you in the Spanish sunshine! so glad you popped in to say "Hi!" welcome, and have fun trying out things. there are SO many people here who are willing to answer questions.

It's nice to have another "mature" :) member amongst us.

We have great challenge and one that may be of particular interest to you - the Creative Techniques. Ona is a wonderful teacher. The challenges run monthly and the new Feb ones will be up soon.

Looking forward to seeing your pages in the gallery.

Welcome to the O Anne. I hope you hop in at least once in awhile to the forums or like Yvon said...do a few challenges. Those are some great names. I think several of them inspire many of us.
