Mary!!! Oh my gosh I know where Columbia is!! My parents live right by the Pequest Fish Hatchery and I have a brother who just moved from Blairstown. I'm sure you know where those places are, right?

OMGosh and I just remembered an embarrassing first date story at the ice cream place there on the river (I remember it being a brown building next to a bigger type restaurant - is this ringing a bell?). Do you know where I mean? The place is on Rt 46 between the place that has the deer in the fence and the A&P in Belvedere.

Oh please let me know!

Hahah Suzy!

Did I ever tell you that my dad practically *lives* at Pequest? He volunteers there and to hear my mom talk, he is there more than home, especially during fishing season. I have some pics of my kids there with him.

Hi Mary! I'm new myself here. You'll really find a warm welcome. The digi world is wonderful.

I'll give you some unsolicited advice too! Start organizing your supplies as soon as you start buying them, and trust me you'll buy! have fun!

Thank you all for your warm welcomes. There seems to be a few out there that actually live close by.

Rockaway mall

I'm probably around 40 minutes away (a little bit closer). It would definitely be fun to meet everyone. I work in Princeton, and stay with my mother in law during the week in Fords, NJ. I only come home for the weekend. We are in the process of trying to sell our house.

I live 8 miles away from Princeton! My kids were born in Princeton hospital and I worked in Princeton for a long time. My husband and I go to Tortuga's a lot. Have you been there? Oh wow - so fun to find someone who is close by!

Chris - what exit are you off the turnpike?

I've heard of Tortugas, but never been there. I work for Novo Nordisk on Route 1. It's amazing how close we all are. I'm looking to relocate somewhere in the Robbinsville or Hopewell area.

I am pretty far North of the Tpke. I'd take exit 16, to Rt 3, to 46, to 23 north. Going to Newark Airport, we've taken Rt 24 in instead. Less traffic.

Another way to get by me is 287 North, to Riverdale/Bloomingdale and then "country roads" up to the NJ/NY border.

But my "stomping grounds" are Denville, Parsippany area.

Gary had seen a dr past Princeton last year and its a good 2 hours from me. 3 hours to get home b/c of good old NJ traffic LOL
