Hello Everyone!

My name is Agata. I am originally from Poland, but I have lived in the U.S. since 2001. I am a librarian, "mom" to 4 cats and a dog, a volunteer at a cat rescue, a lover of nature, creativity, and all things art, and a self-proclaimed "green witch" :)
I ventured to Oscraps following my favorite designer, A Whimsical Adventure. I am excited to see some other familiar faces and, oh, so many new ones. I am very curious about all the new designers and the "whole new world" to discover.
My road to scrapbooking only very briefly led through the traditional (paper-based) version of this art. I discovered its digital version in 2023 and immediately fell in love with it. I still consider myself a beginner (slowly going on intermediate) as I am still learning and experimenting with my Photoshop Elements.

I'm very happy to (virtually) meet You All :)

Hi! I grew up in Maryland but live in Missouri now. Sometimes I miss MD...sometimes not so much lol! Welcome to Oscraps and happy exploring and creating!
 
Welcome. We lived in MD from 71 to73 near Aberdeen Proving Grounds and 1999 -2002 we traveled to the bay from CT in our boat...a favorite destination!!! We have many friends there still. I'm looking forward to your pages.

I am a nature lover and totally appreciate your green-witchiness. I can talk about plants and animals all day long if you let me. (And if you don't. I tend to ramble on about nature either way LOL)

Greetings, Agata! Where in Poland? My 2X great grandparents came here in the 1870s from Sipiory. I know it was considered Prussian then, but today has returned to the ever resilient Polish people. Welcome to the O family!

I'm from Warsaw (boring, lol). I checked and saw that Sipiory is in northern central Poland, which belonged to then-Prussia for the whole of the 19th century (and some of the 20th). :)
